There are 3 stir settings for a continuous slow stirring and 2 for a different slow intermittent stirring depending on the dish. Here are just a few examples to get your mouth watering: A béchamel sauce Just add the ingredients and set the machine on a continuous mixing and cooking setting for a perfect sauce leaving you free to take care of the rest of the meal. A risotto A specially designed heat resistant tool cooks the risotto all in one with the gentle intermittent stir setting doing all the hard work. A classic chocolate mousse Melt the chocolate without the need for a bain-marie, and set the temperature and time for consistently perfect results. A French cassoulet Use the food processing or slicing and shredding attachments to prepare the vegetables, then sauté and cook all together in the bowl. We almost forgot to mention the steamer basket – use this for vegetables steamed just as you like them – while you concentrate on another task. You can still use the KM070 as a conventional stand mixer and it’s supplied with stainless-steel K-beater, whisk, and dough hook attachments for all your kneading, mixing and whisking needs. A food processor is also included, plus a 1.5L stainless steel liquidiser attachment. There's also a flexible beater for creaming mixes. And, with its smooth head-lift action, changing tools is easy. Of course, the KM070 uses Kenwood's unique `planetary` mixing action for optimum results - and quietly.
